The reproductive medications develop rapidly. However, among all infertility problems, women with advanced age which causes poor egg quality is still the most difficult issue to overcome. Age directly affects fertility. The older you are, the more the fertility declines. How do women preserve their fertility?

Prevention is better than cure

Cryopreservation of germ cells can prolong the reproductive capacity of men and women. Frozen eggs before the age of 35 can increase the chance of pregnancy. If there is a need for cancer treatment, frozen sperm or eggs can also avoid harmful effects from chemical therapy.

About 1% of women have problems with premature ovarian failure (loss of function of the ovaries before age 40). Knowing your ovarian reserve and function can plot a strategy early. Only when women measure AMH can they plan their pregnancy plans and life goals.

AMH, or Mullerian inhibiting Hormone (MIS), is an ideal indicator of ovarian function in recent years. AMH level decreases with age and is not detectable by menopause. Women who are concerned about infertility need to know their own ovaries. AMH is the most convenient and effective index to evaluate women's ovarian function.

Other solutions

When a couple's own eggs or sperm fail to reach the goal of conceiving, they might need to consider the options of donor sperm, donor eggs, or surrogacy to have children.

Use of frozen eggs from a donor is an option for those in need of a donor to build their family. Clinical pregnancy rates are similar between fresh and frozen cycles, but that frozen cycles are more cost-effective, with a shorter time to cycle start and significantly lower cancellation rates.
